Your Local Children's Charity Need YOU!

YLF volunteers are the heart of what we do. They give over 34,000 hours every year, making a huge impact in our local community, providing positive outcomes for young people… and without them we could not operate.

Giving just a few hours a month can significantly change a young person’s life… and we are sure it will make a difference to yours as well!

Why Volunteer for YLF?

When you become a volunteer for YLF, you will be valued by our close knit team who will be there for you every step of the way.

Supporting our volunteers is one of our priorities. We provide DBS checks, full training, materials and resources, regular supervision and round-the-clock support.

To thank our volunteers we organise special events and social gatherings during the year too.

Our open-door policy also means you are welcome at any of our hubs and the main office at any time, whether it’s to stop by and say hello, or to meet with your young person.
