Panto Time! ‘Oh Yes It Is!’

No Christmas activity schedule would be complete without a trip to the Panto. So, on Friday YLF did just that by taking a group of over 35 young people from New Line Learning Academy in Maidstone to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Central Theatre, Chatham.

It was a great show, with all the usual audience participation and a very special guest appearance from none other than… SIMON COWELL!! Well, the ventriloquist puppet from Britain’s Got Talent - but still very enjoyable!

It was great to see all the young people joining in with the singing and the essential chorus of 'He’s behind you!'

Jordan said “I've never been to a pantomime before but I still knew all the words to the songs”

Kyle said “I really enjoyed going to a theatre because I've only ever been to the cinema before”

Gifts for the children were bursting out from under our tree just before the trip! With thanks to all the generous donations and the Christmas cards you've been buying, YLF were able to give everyone a gift to go home with and the children also had an ice cream in the interval!
