Fantastic Day on the Fairways!

A Golf Day to remember!

On Friday 17th July, 120 golfers took to the fairways at the stunning Weald of Kent Golf Club for YLF’s annual Charity Golf Day and it was nothing short of incredible!

We were delighted to welcome 30 teams, bringing together long-standing supporters and many new faces. Under glorious summer sunshine, players enjoyed a competitive yet friendly 18-hole Pairs Scramble, with plenty of laughter and camaraderie shared across the course.

A standout moment of the day was the £10,000 hole-in-one challenge on the 6th hole. Although the top prize remained unclaimed this year, the excitement it created was matched only by the incredible spirit shown by everyone taking part.

After the final putts were sunk, golfers gathered for a well-earned lunch, followed by a lively raffle and auction featuring an array of fantastic prizes donated by our generous supporters.

Thanks to the incredible support of our golfers, sponsors, prize donors, and a very generous match funder, we raised over £35k!!

These vital funds will help provide summer activity getaways for disadvantaged young people across Kent. Through these experiences, young people can build confidence, develop new skills, form lasting friendships, and enjoy opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
