Young People Triumph Over New Ash Green Police!
What an exciting community football fixture as our young people took on the New Ash Green Police in a fantastic display of teamwork, determination and community spirit!
Despite the weather threatening to spoil the occasion, with heavy rain falling throughout much of the match, both teams showed incredible commitment and never let the conditions dampen their enthusiasm. It was a closely contested game from start to finish, with plenty of great football on display.
After an end-to-end battle, our young people emerged victorious, securing a well-deserved win through hard work, resilience and excellent teamwork. Every player gave their all, putting in a top-class performance despite the challenging conditions.
Once the final whistle blew, the celebrations began! Young people headed to the ice cream van for a well-earned treat, rounding off a brilliant afternoon of football, friendship and fun.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the event such a success. It was fantastic to see the support of Kenward Trust and our local Fire Brigade, whose presence highlighted the importance of partnership working and community engagement.
Events like these are about much more than the final score. They provide opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop positive relationships with local services, stay active and enjoy being part of their community.
