Nathan Completes 12 Marathons!
We are incredibly grateful to Nathan Hinckley, who recently completed an extraordinary fundraising challenge in support of YLF.
We are incredibly grateful to Nathan Hinckley, who recently completed an extraordinary fundraising challenge in support of YLF.
In the lead-up to Christmas, Nathan took on the challenge of running 12 marathons in 12 consecutive days, finishing his final run on Christmas Eve at YLF HQ in Maidstone. What began as a personal goal to raise £5,000 quickly gathered momentum. Thanks to the generosity of friends, family, local businesses and the wider community, Nathan raised more than £7,600 to support our work with vulnerable young people.

Nathan, 21, is a personal trainer and former academy footballer whose own experiences with mental health challenges inspired him to support children and young people facing uncertainty and adversity. The funds raised will help us re-establish weekly group sessions in Maidstone. The group will provide a safe space where young people can build confidence, receive support and feel a sense of belonging.
Throughout the challenge, Nathan was supported by friends who ran alongside him, provided physiotherapy support and encouraged him through some very tough moments. Despite injury and illness along the way, his determination never wavered.
Nathan shared how meaningful it was to see so many people come together to support him along the way, and he has since applied to become a YLF Volunteer to helping with our youth groups.
We would like to thank Nathan for his incredible commitment and everyone who donated, encouraged and supported him along the way. His efforts will make a real difference to the young people we support in Kent.
