Teeing Up for YLF!

YLF Golf Day 2025 Success!

What a day to remember!

On Thursday 18th July, 96 golfers teed off at the beautiful Weald of Kent Golf Club for our annual Charity Golf Day, and what an incredible day it was.

We were thrilled to welcome 24 teams of golfers, made up of both familiar faces and some fantastic new supporters. The sun was shining, the competition was fierce (yet friendly!), and the generosity from all involved was simply outstanding.

Players took on a challenging 18-hole Pairs Scramble, packed with fun competitions along the way, including the chance to win a whopping £10,000 on hole 6 with a hole-in-one, generously sponsored by CCF. While no one managed to bag the big prize this year, spirits stayed high and the sense of camaraderie was felt across the course.

After the round, everyone came together to relax over lunch and take part in an exciting auction and raffle, with amazing prizes donated by our generous supporters.

Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised over £5,000!

These vital funds will go directly towards our summer activity getaways, helping disadvantaged young people across Kent to build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting friendships, experiences they may not otherwise have access to.

Thank you!

A massive thank you to Barry Drew for his incredible support in organising the day, as well as:

  • Our brilliant event sponsors: Hunter Law, CCF, Berwick Tax, Woodlands Trust, Simon Munday and Alex Dunks
  • Everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes
  • And of course, each and every golfer who took part!

Couldn’t make it this year? Don’t worry, we’ll be back in 2026! Keep your eyes peeled for ticket details coming soon. We can’t wait to welcome you all back for another unforgettable day of golf, great memories and fundraising for YLF!
