School mentors can provide young people with a safe environment to access an independent, trusted person to talk to and share their problems and feelings.
…providing sessions tailored to meet student’s unique needs with a focus on positively impacting neurodevelopment
…packages for challenges such as exam stress, low attendance, bullying, self-confidence, to enhance their skills, resilience and boost academic performance
…a safe, trauma informed space where young people can access informal outdoor learning and nature based activities whilst building a friendship network
…including support around exclusion or school refusal for young people who are NEET or struggling to return to school and more. Just ask!
Our school mentoring offer is a young person led service, allowing each arrangement to be bespoke to individual circumstances and needs.
As an independent service, young people and school support staff have trusted, valued and professional relationships with mentors who are able to provide 1:1 and group support to those in need.
Our trauma‑informed approach nurtures mental health, emotional wellbeing, and resilience, while supporting healthy neurodevelopment. Students build confidence, develop new skills, and strengthen academic performance.
Through positive role‑modelling and effective communication, mentors help young people manage emotions, set goals, and expand their aspirations for the future.
