Our Summer…
We are happy to have still enjoyed a legendary summer together despite the global crisis!
We are happy to have still enjoyed a legendary summer together despite the global crisis!
Late last year we asked our young people their views about the Positive Activities Programme. They reported that the name was a bit boring and we needed something new!
So we listened and took action – using social media, polls, surveys, texts and emails a new name and logo was voted upon – and the winner – if you hadn’t noticed already – is….
The LEGENDS Programme!!!
Now we have a new look, a new name, lots of new activities lined up and new contact details – don’t forget to save these and stay in touch:

Our summer activities may have looked a bit different this year, with many being held virtually on Zoom, but we completed challenges and activities, like quizzes, with the company of our friends on the screen but in the safety and comfort of our own homes… We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the young people who joined us for these sessions – we know it was tough (and also a bit technical!). And also thank you to all the parents and carers who supported the set up and adjustment to Zoom sessions.
But after lockdown we safely resumed some of our face-to-face sessions! We went from Zoom, to zooming…. zooming down ski slopes, zooming across lakes, zooming down toboggan runs… our activities have been a blast!
Check out more about the activities we’ve done below….
With thanks to our wonderful funders including the Masonic Charitable Foundation, BBC Children in Need, The National Lottery Community Fund, National Express Foundation, and not forgetting the donations from our kind supporters, we have been able to take part in small group activities including:
…visits to Kent Life, Leeds Castle, Diggerland and wildlife parks; paddleboarding and kayaking; sliding down ski slopes and toboggan runs; crazy golf sessions; arts, crafts and pottery painting; field sports, local walks and trips to the park.
We have been able to socialise again, learn new skills and experience some things we haven’t done before – and it’s felt amazing!
