Nessie | Day 3 canoeing on ice!

Day 3 - This mornings adventure was meant to be canoeing on a lake - instead the lake was frozen so it was canoeing on ice!!??!!

With wonderful views of snow capped mountains and trees, we hit the frozen lake.....it was cold... But worth it!!

This was a first for all of us, and the sound of the ice breaking and cracking under the canoe was awesome!

Ashley got dizzy as he paddled round and round in circles LOL :-) but he finally got the hang of paddling and working with his canoe partner to take on the epic experience.

The Nessie group describe this mornings experience as extraordinary - awesome - unbelievable and amazing....and what's more amazing.....strangely no one fell in!!!

Off to lunch and a warm roaring fire!!
