Nessie | Super Steve’s Summary

Well we are all home safe, sound and injury free...(well near enough!) and have caught up on some much needed sleep.

The 5 'let's find nessie' girls should be very proud of what they have achieved in giving 17 young people an amazing experience.  There are just too many highlights and achievements to mention in 1 blog post.

Personally It has been a privilege to have been part of this story, to see so many individuals achieve goals, grow in confidence, overcome fears and establish new friendships.  It's mad to think that before this trip was arranged, the group had never met each other before, but everyone left with new friends.

So it leaves me to say a MASSIVE thank you to the YLF & Abernethy Teams for helping make this a success, to those who funded and supported it, to all who followed our blog, to the carers and social workers who worked hard to tie up loose ends and to all the young people who made it the success it was!

Shame Nessie didn't make an appearance but it didn't matter - in the words of Ashley aka 'Ash give anything a bash' "this has been the best thing I have ever done" :)
