Weekend Sailing Adventure!
Young people from across Kent came together at Gillingham Pier on Friday for a weekend sailing adventure on the River Medway!
The young people had control of everything from raising the sail, raising the anchor, working the sails and anchoring down. There was the chance to climb the rigging and learn how to tie different types of knots before setting off on power boats around a small island!

The group had to brace themselves for the wild sail home but everyone got stuck in to help and even though the barge was throwing itself from side to side a safe arrival was made back at Gillingham Pier!
