Stubbers | …Wakey Wakey!
Day 2...
After a somewhat excitable first night, what better way to start the day than with a nice gentle wake-up call followed by a full English breakfast!
First on the schedule was high ropes and 4x4 off road driving…
The driving got off to a wobbly start as Kirsty somehow managed to puncture the tyre – never happened before apparently!
Meanwhile Paddy was setting records on the high ropes – round the whole course in 29 seconds a new Stubbers record! (including staff!)
The afternoon was equally as eventful as the young people embarked on their final activities of the day.
Paddle boarding was a definite favourite as people got to grips with the various games and challenges they were set.
The early evening saw the young people sat around the orchard playing card games, chatting and listening to music. When the sun went down we built a fire and shared funny stories and memorable moments from the day.
“The 4x4 driving was my favourite activity so far. I am definitely coming to Challengers residential next year!” Lakiya, 11
All in all a superb day, full of fun and laughter.
