YLF Meets High Sheriff

Mr Hugo Fenwick, High Sheriff of Kent presented YLF with over £9000 this week!

Kate and Hugo Fenwick kindly hosted a comedy night at their home in July attended by over 200 people. With laugh-out-loud stand ups, sketches and even a ‘pukka picnic’, the event and auction exceeded the fundraising expectation of £5000.

The High Sheriff and his wife Kate, along with Susie, Sarah and Jane, the events organising committee, visited YLF yesterday to present the amazing amount of £9,355 to Chairman Clive Emson and CEO Stephen Gray.

Stephen says, "This is such an generous amount of money which YLF will use to take groups of young people on overnight stays where they can challenge themselves, learn new skills and make friends. With cuts to our income, this donation will ensure young people won't miss out."
