Chessington Adventures!
When the YLF flyer was released to invite youngsters to Chessington World of Adventures, the trip was fully booked within a day!
On Wednesday, our group of young people were ready and excited for a day at Chessington - and with no traffic hold-ups we arrived with plenty of time on our hands to enjoy the entire day there.
The group were huddled together working out what ride they wanted to go on first, then off they went with their staff leader, some heading for Dragons Fury and others to Rattle Snake. Let the excitement commence!
“Dragon’s Fury was awesome - we went on twice!” said Megan.
Two of the young people were great at reading the park map and keen on leading their group around for the day. They figured out a route they would take that meant they didn't have to dart off from one side of the park to the other - meaning more time for rides!
There was a few shower spells that morning but that didn’t stop the young people from having fun - after all they were getting wet anyway on the Rameses Revenge and Bubbleworks rides!
“I loved Bubbleworks, I wish it was longer” said Sam.
The afternoon was sunny and to brighten the day up even more we all grouped together for lunch and a delicious ice cream and spoke of the mornings adventures!
The day came to an end with a ride on the Zufari and the group headed back to the bus for a well-earned...snooze!
“It’s been the best day I have ever had!” said Sophie.
“I want to say thank you to YLF and Golding Homes for the trip today because I have had a brilliant time!” said Aaron.
Golding Homes, Golding Vision Community Grant, has allowed YLF to deliver such a wonderful adventure to these children and we are extremely grateful. Thank you.
