WALES | Day 2…
Early start this morning! After a wake up call at 7am, we headed down for breakfast and then collected our waterproof’s, wellies, helmets and life jackets and got ready for the days activity. Gorge walking!
The young people and staff separated into 2 groups, boys in one and girls in the other. We piled into 2 mini buses and headed to Betws-y-Coed where our adventures began!
The boys started at the top and made their way down the gorge, and the girls started at the bottom and climbed up the gorge. We met up halfway, where some of the young people and staff used ropes to lower themselves into an old mine shaft.
We all got wet (some more than others!)
After we had finished climbing the gorge, we headed back to the mini bus. Soaked and tired we chatted excitedly about the challenge we had just completed!
After we had all dried off and warmed up, we headed down for dinner where we all swapped our stories of the day, who had fallen in the most and what our best bits were! After dinner, we spent time watching a film and playing games in the common room.
