Feedback on our Themes so far this year...
Thank you for sharing your views and voices for the theme of School, College and Work!
Earlier this year we reached out to you with a survey around the topic of ‘School, College and Work’ as we wanted to have as many Medway young people’s voices heard on this.
Some of the questions we asked were ‘Who do you go to for help?’ and ‘If you feel safe at School/College/Work?’
Action Taken...
The survey received over 66 young people and care leavers responses!
Well done to our winner who was announced in our prize draw! We delivered a luxury MCYPC chocolate hamper and voucher to them!
Some of you also attended our consultation groups and 1:1 discussions where the main themes raised were:
PEP’s, transport to school, and wanting more information regarding bursaries for those in Education.
Therefore, the actions which were agreed by the Corporate Parenting Board are:
1. Good practice guide for PEPs
2. Improving transport
3. Raising the profile of bursaries and where to find the information
