1 Week, 5 Pantos!
‘Oh no they didn't... Oh yes they did!’ …
YLF volunteers and young people had the opportunity to visit theatres in Chatham, Canterbury, Sevenoaks, Gravesend and Maidstone for a traditional viewing of a Christmas Pantomime!
With thanks to fundraised money and Heart FM, over 100 people enjoyed joining in with the 'He's behind you!' and 'Oh no he didn't' chants!!
Our biggest group of over 40 YLF volunteer independent visitors and young people enjoyed this year’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
"A truly amazing day. I love my visits with my volunteer, they are an amazing person. Thank you YLF for an unforgettable day!" Sarah, young person.
"We enjoyed our afternoon – thank you YLF! I am so pleased to be a part of your organisation." Angie, volunteer.
Others watched Dick Whittington, Robin Hood and Peter Pan with an extra special performance from Heart's Breakfast hosts, James and Becky, who became 'Pantomime Crashers' for one night only in aid of raising funds for Make Some Noise; a campaign YLF is benefiting from.
"Brilliant pantomime; we all enjoyed it. Well done to James and Becky who were extremely funny and really looked the part!" said Amy
A busy weekend, full of smiles and Christmas cheer - thank you to all who supported and joined in!
