Sue Chandler, Cabinet Member for Integrated Children’s Services said:
“My heartfelt thanks go to everyone who donated to this wonderful appeal and to all the staff and members at KCC and everyone at the Young Lives Foundation for their hard work and determination in making this happen and exceeding our target. Well done and thank you.”
Our CEO, Stephen Gray, said:
“We were absolutely delighted with the support of the Christmas Campaign this year which meant we were able to deliver (literally) on our goal of ensuring every care leaver received a gift at Christmas.
The support from national and local businesses, organisations and individuals surprised us all and the additional monies will now mean the corporate parent can offer enhanced support to care leavers in 2023. Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign.”
Thank you to all who donated!
We are really grateful for the community’s generosity and excited to be able to support care leavers beyond the Christmas period with the extra donations.
We look forward to sharing our updates with you about our Care Leavers Starter Packages! Watch this space!
