An Eventful Week
Take a look at the fun awareness opportunities YLF (and Lenny!) have had this week...
It was a pleasure to once again take part in the World Custard Pie Championships in Coxheath last weekend! A huge congratulations to our YLF Lenny Lion team for an amazing 6th place finish! Tom, Kristy, Sandra, and Colin showcased their incredible custard pie throwing skills and made us proud! Well done, team!
Our YLF mascot Lenny also had an action-packed weekend at the Barming Youth Football Club Tournament. Did you spot him on Saturday or Sunday? He had a blast meeting everyone and enjoyed every moment, from playing hook-a-duck, trying his hand at archery, to giving out tons of high fives! Well done to all of the young people who took part in the tournament and thank you to all of you who visited our stall and donated!

With opportunities like those above, YLF have been able to boost charity exposure – with some added fun!
We are also grateful to Bluewater Shopping Mall who allowed us use of their charity stand throughout Volunteers Week because with opportunities like this, we are able to raise more funds and awareness as well as recruiting to our team of wonderful volunteers to further support the young people of Kent!
