Half Term Fun | Quad Bikes!
Another day and another activity for YLF youngsters...and this time it was muddy!!!
Thanks to YLF supporters and fundraised money, 17 lucky young people from care were given the opportunity to experience an activity day including quad bilking and archery
Our group were greeted by a rainbow as the sun shone on us for our first ever attempt at Quad Biking. The group donned overalls and helmets as we were taken through our paces on quad bikes, avoiding the bumps and puddles and making sure we were safe drivers and could work as a team so we could attempt the hills, thrills and spills of the muddy trails!
"I cant believe I drove a quad, it felt like I was going to fall off down the hill!!" Emma, aged 15.
As groups headed off on the trails, those left behind to wait, took turns at archery, with Terry winning the hot shot stakes with his magnificent aim - BULLSEYE!!
"That was amazing! Thank you so much for making this happen!" Vincent, aged 13.
