Matilda
YLF’s volunteers and young people headed up to London's West End to see the smash hit musical Matilda.
On Sunday 16th November an excited group of 52 travelled to London. “I was so excited. This was my first trip to London” Liam, aged 16.
We were lucky enough to see some of London’s landmarks such as The Gherkin, The Shard and the London Eye en-route. The staging was “magical” as was the performance. “It was excellent to watch. I loved it especially when Mrs Trunchball threw the girl.” Ellesse, aged 15.
A fantastic day was had by all. Feedback from our young people rated the show as '10 out of 10', "awesome" , "absolutely banging!" and "The best I have ever seen. A brilliant day from start to finish."
