25 Years Voluntary Service

We are thrilled to be celebrating Mike, who is our very first volunteer to serve for a quarter of a century as an Appropriate Adult!

Mike has devoted countless hours as an Appropriate Adult across Kent Police custody suites. His remarkable volunteering achievement demonstrates the dedication and commitment to this vital key worker role, helping hundreds if not thousands of vulnerable people in Kent and Medway.

Recognition has been received far and wide by our partners at Kent County Council, Medway Council, National Appropriate Adult Service and Kent Police. Praise and admiration from his fellow volunteers, YLF staff and our Board of Trustees has also been passed onto Mike. We hope to celebrate later in the year…
