Madame Tussauds!
A eager bunch of thirteen young people met at Chatham train station to catch the high speed train to London! They were heading to the famous Madame Tussauds!
The main attraction of the first hall of fame displayed all six incarnations of James Bond from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig. Next to them were the likes of George Clooney, Leonardo Di Caprio, Posh n Becks, 'Brangelina' and Tom Hanks! The cameras came out and many snaps were taken! There was also a chance to be like James Bond himself with a photo opportunity in front of the famous gun barrel scene from the opening credits.
"It's so freaky because they look so real - especially Michael Jackson!"
Next up was One Direction, shortly followed by stars from the silver screen through to the 80's.
"Is that Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast At Tiffany's?! My mum watched that film recently!"
From there we headed past sporting greats (no one believed that England actually won a world cup!), pop stars, Politicians and then the Chamber of Horrors. After that excitement, there was a fun cab ride through Britain's history before we headed up to the 4D cinema auditorium to watch a short adventure starring the Avengers where we sensed and felt water, wind and mass destruction!
"That was amazing - I got water splashed on my face!"
Upon leaving the cinema we headed to a new Star Wars celebration and took pictures alongside Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader!
"The best bit was watching the video about how they make the wax works."
A fantastic day out enjoyed by everyone. The 4D cinema was unanimously the favourite part of the day!
