Award Finalists!
We're delighted to announce we are finalists in this years' Kent Charity Awards!
Thank you to those of you who nominated us for the Kent Charity Awards this year! We couldn’t be happier!
The Young Lives Foundation is a finalist in not one, but two categories! The judges have chosen YLF as finalist in the ‘Best Use of Volunteers’ category and also one of our Appropriate Adults, Karen, as a finalist in ‘Volunteer of the Year’.
Karen showed unbelievable commitment in her role during the pandemic. Not only was she faced with the challenges of a Headteacher in her day job, but she also remained active throughout the pandemic attending custody suites across Kent during the evenings and weekends to support vulnerable people being interviewed by the police.
We are so very proud of our team and all our incredible volunteers – to be an award finalist is due to their hard work and dedication.
We look forward to the awards evening later this year. Keep your fingers crossed and eyes peeled for the results!
