Kent Police Thank Volunteer!

Kent Police’s Divisional Commander’s Award Ceremony at Fairfax Hall, Leeds Castle

We were delighted and incredibly proud to attend this ceremony to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our very own appropriate adult volunteer, Mike Lowrey.  Kent Police’s Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Matthew Nix of North Division, presented Mike with this prestigious Commander's award.

"Mike’s dedication as an appropriate adult volunteer with YLF is highly valued by Kent Police and I thank him for spending more time in custody than some of our officers!" Chief Superintendent Nix

Mike has been an appropriate adult, supporting children and vulnerable adults in custody for 20 years!

The Divisional Commander and Senior Management Team were all present to thank Mike. A wonderful evening in such idyllic surroundings.
