New Year, New Work, And More…

We are delighted to be launching a new project at YLF!

The new project is a pilot mentoring programme for Kent County Council's Troubled Families covering Thanet and Maidstone. The Troubled Families Programme is about changing the lives of disadvantaged families that are in need of additional help. This may include help with getting children back into school, parents back into work, building stronger family relationships and/or reducing crime or anti-social behaviour. We will be matching a mentor to a young person from a family that has been identified as requiring extra support, helping them towards a brighter, more positive future.

We are optimistic and committed to transforming the lives of these young people and their families and we can't wait to start our work!...

...However - we can't do it alone!

The community, now more than ever, is in need of your support. We are recruiting volunteers in Kent that can help! Could your spare time help transform a family?
