Kent County Show
Nearly 80,000 people attended the Kent County Show last weekend celebrating the wonderful county of Kent known as the Garden of England.
The wonderful show saw the red arrows fly by, spitfires, dog shows, a vintage market, live-stock competitions and many more exhibitions in glorious sunshine on Saturday.
The Young Lives Foundation were invited to host a charity stall with thanks to Clive Emson Auctioneers and Chief Steward, Peter Fox, in the corporate pod area. We had a delightful grassed seating area where we hosted our stall at the Kent Showground and used our time there to promote our 'superhero' volunteers. Not only did we recruit for volunteers but also raised the profile of the charity and even held a free prize draw!
Despite the problems with our Kent roads and the slight drop of rain on Sunday, we are exceptionally grateful to all of the visitors to the show who took the time to stop by and say hello to us at our stall - we hope to hear from you soon!
